Goals
At the conclusion of our Entrepreneur Start Up Business Organization and Management program track, CEN Entrepreneurial students will be able:
- To determine why one would like to develop a business;
- To develop an understanding of the entrepreneurship mindset;
- To understand the process of opportunity recognition and analysis;
- To determine the feasibility of the idea as a potentially successful business entity;
- To identify agencies and organizations that offer resources for supporting business activities and operations;
- To clearly articulate a new venture's business model;
- To recognize the importance of teams in the entrepreneurial process and the pros and cons associated with different behavior types when starting a new venture;
- To describe the importance and develop and follow a business plan;
- To be familiar with the financial issues associated with the new venture start-ups;
- To identify resources & method that determine critical aspects about business competition
- To recognize the entrepreneurial potential within oneself and others in their environment while appreciating the role of entrepreneurship within society.
